Business Development Representative

Salary : $55,000 – $62,000 per year plus commission

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Manage the Sales Process to increase weekly rental sales. This includes but is not limited to :

Qualifying prospects

Conducting needs analysis meetings and tours

Analyzing selling opportunities

Preparing and presenting solutions, proposals, cost analysis, and samples

Handling objections

Negotiating service agreements and obtaining credit applications

Measuring employees

Completing new account paperwork

Communicating installation information to customers

Manage a territory to create new prospective accounts. This includes but is not limited to :

Cold calling businesses to gather information and set appointments

Making phone calls to gather information and set appointments

Prospecting using tools such as data platforms, the internet, trade publications, association meetings, and other appropriate methods

Maintain timely and accurate information in Salesforce, including :

Prospect, contact, account, and opportunity details

Information from prospecting, qualifying, and selling activities

Calendar management

Establish and maintain a professional company image through proper sales techniques, marketing efforts, and customer relations, while modeling integrity and professionalism.

Attend and participate in company, department, and team meetings.

Adhere to all Safety, Health, and Housekeeping standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.

Job Requirements :

Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current insurance

Strong salesmanship skills including prospecting, qualifying, identifying prospects’ needs, presenting, handling objections, closing, and negotiating

Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Strong time and territory management skills

Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Salesforce

Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills

Self-motivated and results-driven

Honest and respectful
