Frequent travel required with potential for overnight stays. Requires regular, in person engagement with agency partners within your assigned territory to maintain a level of field presence and visibility that supports Nationwide's commitment to deepening agency relationships and driving profitable growth. As a Territory Manager, you'll be dedicated to driving profitability with personal lines distribution partners. You'll work with a variety of distribution partners, including in size and strategic focus, leveraging the appropriate tools and tactics to drive the desired results for the relationship.
Key Responsibilities :
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships : Reports to Sales Associate Vice President or Vice President; individual contributor role.
Typical Skills and Experiences :
Education : Undergraduate studies in general business, insurance, sales, marketing or related fields; degree preferred.
Experience : Typically eight to ten years of sales or sales management experience. Prior property casualty or financial services experience desirable.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills :
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager's leader and Human Resource Business Partner.

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. If a Sales job, Sales Incentives, based on performance goals are possible in addition to this range. The national salary range for Territory Manager - Personal Lines : $94,000.00-$194,000.00. The expected starting salary range for Territory Manager - Personal Lines : $104,000.00 - $156,000.00
