LAUSD Safety Specialist

We are currently looking for a Safety Specialist (LAUSD CM-SS-0325-17-Ext)  for our contract with Los Angeles Unified School District.  We are accepting applications for this position through  10 / 24 / 25 @ 9am Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required.  This is an on-site, long term job.

You must be located in Southern California.

NO relocation funds, and NO per diem.

• Los Angeles, CA Number of positions : 1 Type : Direct Hire Salary Range :  $123K - $137K Minimum Requirements Required Experience / Skills : 10 years' full-time paid professional construction safety management experience in developing and implementing accident prevention programs for a large private or public organization Required Education : Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in industrial or environmental engineering, Occupational Safety or Industrial Hygiene or closely related field OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a Professional Safety Certification OR Two years of college education with a Professional Safety Certification and an additional 2 year full-time professional paid experience in construction safety management to compensate for the years of education.

Completion of the OSHA 500 and 40-hour HAZPOWER courses is preferred One of the Following Credentials is Preferred :
