Description Recruiter - General Student Population

Midway University seeks an enthusiastic professional to recruit and enroll prospective undergraduate students from the general student population (non-athletes) , including traditional and transfer students. This new position is responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling general population students ( non-athlete) into the University’s programs. The Recruiter builds relationships with prospective students and their influencers, provides admissions information and guidance, and manages the recruitment pipeline from inquiry to enrollment. Success in this role requires a disciplined approach to ongoing communication, follow-up, and territory management.

The Recruiter provides prospective students with information on academic programs, admission requirements, deadlines, financial aid, and campus life, while guiding applicants through the submission of all required documents. Exceptional service to students and families, along with effective collaboration with faculty, staff, and campus partners, is essential.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Student Recruitment & Relationship Management

• Identify and cultivate prospective general population students through high school visits, community outreach, campus tours, college fairs, email, phone, social media, and other channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, parents, school counselors, and other key influencers to support enrollment goals.
• Deliver high-quality, student-centered service throughout the recruitment process.
