Position Purpose :

The Acquisition / Development Analyst provides capable, studied, and thorough support to the Acquisition / Development team and investment Committee, with specific emphasis on the preparation, maintenance, and organization of project documents, budgets, financial models, schedules, and reports for development projects and underwriting modeling for acquisition targets. As part of the Finance team, the Acquisition / Development Analyst has advanced Excel skills, an in-depth understanding of financial modeling including cash-on-cash returns, IRR analysis, capitalization rates, and discounted cash flow.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Build, maintain, and monitor financial models in Excel utilizing property financial statements, budgets, leases, expense information, and market assumptions
• Communicate with sellers, brokers, and third-party vendors to validate diligence materials
• Support the underwriting, analysis, and execution of real estate acquisitions
• Prepare and compile due diligence materials, budgets, financial models, and schedules
