Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in civil infrastructure . The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in mass excavation and underground utilities (water, sewer, and storm). This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can prepare accurate estimates, analyze project documents, and work closely with project teams to ensure successful bids.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and multi-family civil infrastructure projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop accurate takeoffs.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop value-engineering solutions.
  • Maintain and update estimating databases and historical cost information.
  • Support preconstruction efforts and assist with bid reviews and final proposals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of estimating experience in civil construction.
  • Strong background in mass excavation and underground utilities (water, sewer, storm) .
  • Experience with residential and multi-family projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Bid2Win, AGTEK, and Bluebeam .
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines effectively.
