About The Position

Job Title : CT Rad Tech

Profession : Radiologic Technologist

Hours per Shift : 9 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in CT and X-ray

License : Required

Certifications : AHA BLS, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT preferred / not required

Must-Have :

• At least two years of CT and X-ray experience
• Willingness to learn and perform EKGs
• Open to first-time travelers

Description :

The position requires performing general X-ray imaging, including extremities, spines, and chest.

CT imaging focuses on strokes, traumas, CTA, and AAA dissection.

Dexa experience is not required for travelers.

No fluoroscopy, arthrograms, or barium studies will be performed.

Equipment used includes a Canon Aquillon Prime SP for CT and Carestream for X-ray.

Shifts will have variable start times of 7 : 00, 7 : 30, or 8 : 00.

The last clock-out is at 5 : 30 PM.

Scheduling is managed by the department manager.

Weekend call is required, specifically one weekend call shift per month.

Weekend call shifts start at 5 : 30 PM on Friday and end at 7 : 00 AM on Monday.

Weeknight call is approximately once per week, starting at 5 : 30 PM with a 15-minute response time.

Employees should be within 20 minutes of the facility to arrive on time for call.

Meal, room, and board are provided while on call.

Charting is conducted using Meditech.

No BSN is required for this position.

This position is within an acute care setting.
