Perform new-patient evaluations / examsDiagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitationsCreate a plan that sets a goal and completion dateEquip patients with PT intervention techniques / exercises; track progressProvide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of careExamine and evaluate new patientsEstablish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activityEstablish a plan goal and time framePrescribe intervention techniques and exercisesMeasure and track intervention effectivenessEducate the patient on continuing careRequired Skills
Accredited PT program graduateUp-to-date state PT licenseAble to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plansAbility to work efficiently / effectively in an autonomous environmentMust be passionate about helping patients who have vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro / ortho center or vestibular rehab experienceGraduation from an accredited PT program and current PT license in TXMust be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation settingMust be self-motivated with a willingness to learnPassion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient populationPrefer at least one year working in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or previous vestibular rehab experience
