Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications :

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY).
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to student success.

Location : Blacksburg, VA

Responsibilities :

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Provide direct therapy to students on your caseload.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student needs.
  • Develop and maintain IEPs, ensuring they reflect students goals and progress.
  • Conduct assessments and reassessments as required by school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
