Join Komatsu and Be Part of Something Big!
Job Overview
As an Engineer III in the Vehicle Development Group of Komatsu's Surface Haulage Business Unit, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of electric drive mining haul trucks. You'll be part of a fast-paced vehicle development team responsible for designing and integrating new components and systems that improve truck performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
This role offers full ownership of your designs from concept through production. You will lead the development of mechanical systems, create and refine CAD models and drawings, and drive decision-making by presenting solutions, incorporating feedback, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders. Collaboration is essential-expect to work closely with engineering peers, manufacturing teams, test and validation groups, and third-party suppliers to ensure your designs meet performance and cost targets and are fully validated before production release.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is motivated by seeing their designs move from idea to implementation in real-world mining operations.
