Job Description
Internal Audit at Lamb Weston provides a balanced perspective in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the company's strategic, operational, and compliance objectives. This key Internal Audit position will be responsible for performing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the company. This flexible position is ideal for self-motivated auditors who enjoy working with people at various levels and in all areas of the company.
- Participate in the Company's SOX Program and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls, streamline processes, and improve operational efficiency and propose solutions to Internal Audit Leaders.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and other deliverables summarizing findings and recommendations for management.
- Follow-up on audit findings to ensure management action plans have been implemented.
- Assess opportunities to utilize data to identify process insights, risks, and support audit conclusions.
- Execute against timelines and objectives and deliver high quality, timely deliverables.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, Information Technology preferred)Advanced degree a plus1+ years professional audit (internal or external) experienceCPA and / or CIA certifications, or progress towards them, preferredExcellent analytical, project management, interpersonal and communication skillsProficient knowledge of auditing and accounting, US GAAP, SOX, COSO 2013 Framework, PCAOB and IIA standardsAbility to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to think critically, ask searching questions, analyze complex areasAbility to collaborate with local stakeholdersAbility to work remotely and independently of direct supervisorAbility to deliver timely deliverables and respond to feedbackAbility to navigate ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environmentProficient with Microsoft OfficeWillingness and ability to travel up to 20%, including international travelIndustry-Competitive Benefits
