The Opportunity : As an AI sof tware engineer, you know that good sof tware is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. Today, you need to develop user-focused solutions that increase organizational efficiency and enable better decision-making. Booz Allen is the leading provider of AI services to the nation, and we're looking for a sof tware engineer like you to create AI and machine learning (ML) solutions that help solve the Department of Defense's toughest problems.

On our team, you'll create and implement complete end-to-end solutions that modernize client systems. You'll ensure that your team's solutions consider the broader ecosystem and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements design a secure, cloud-based communications network to support mission-critical operations. Additionally, you'll deepen your skill set in areas like automation.

You Have :

• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications using Agile methods
• 5+ years of experience in sof tware development with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks such as JavaScript, Python, or Scala
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, sof tware engineering, product management, and sof tware products
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Knowledge of AI systems architecture, AI platforms, or MLflow
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
