Responsibilities Open Heart ICU with 10 beds in a hospital setting Care for critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery adult patients Procedures include invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia monitoring, pacemaker / ICD and IABP management, CRRT, VAD, and ECMO Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Every other weekend required Possible floating to all ICU and med surg floors as needed No on-call requirements Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays; no time off allowed between Christmas and New Year's Uses EPIC EMR and prior experience is required May provide care for COVID patients Responsible for managing recovery and intensive care of open heart and surgical patients using advanced critical care modalities Expected to complete facility modules prior to start, requiring approximately 5-6 hours Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted per contract Holiday coverage includes working 2 out of 3 major holidays Local candidates within 50 miles will be considered at a lower rate Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free work environment Requirements Active PA or compact RN license with no restrictions Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Current AHA or ARC certifications in ACLS and BLS Experience with EPIC required Experience with cardiothoracic and cardiovascular case management and advanced cardiac life support procedures necessary Candidate must be tobacco and fragrance free while onsite Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619454.
