About The Position

We are seeking a General Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Hawaii. This challenging yet rewarding role commences on Jan 2, 2026, and spans 36 weeks. The assignment entails providing 24 / 7 general surgery coverage, including weekend call responsibilities from Friday 8 PM to Monday 8 AM, and morning rounding, with no clinic duties involved.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive general surgery services on a 24 / 7 basis

Handle surgical emergencies and procedures as required

Perform morning rounds to assess patient conditions and plan further treatment

Attend to patients during designated call times over weekends

Additional Information

Must be board certified in General Surgery

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must hold a valid Hawaii medical license
