Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Hackensack, NJ. We are seeking a Project Manager responsible for water systems. This role requires strong leadership and problem solving abilities, along with depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulatiions, and utility systems to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive plans, timelines, and resource allocations for utility projects.
- Oversee project costs, manage budgets, and control expenses to ensure the project stays within financial limits.
- Manage and supervise internal crews, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality work and on-time completion.
- Handle the selection of contractors, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely procurement and tracking of necessary materials.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required.Several years of construction or utility project management experience is essential, with some positions requiring a supervisory level of experience.Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications are often preferred, along with safety certifications like OSHA 10 or 30.Strong leadership and communication skills : to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.Expertise in construction management, including planning, scheduling, and budget management.Knowledge of safety regulations, technical aspects of utility construction, and utility operations.Problem-solving abilities : to handle challenges that arise during projects.Experience with project lifecycle : management, from pre-construction to closeout
