Job Summary & Responsibilities

Technical Instructor (Onto Align Title - Learning Experienced Designer- 3) will work in Wilmington, MA reporting to the Sr Manager, Technical Training (in Budd Lake NJ). Relocation assistance is available upon approval. This full-time role involves delivering training to ONTO Service Engineers and Customers primarily on Onto Lithography products. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design, stand-up instruction, development of technical documentation, knowledge management, and experience in Task List Based equipment training. Field Service support experience and Lithography expertise are preferred.

• Designs training courses for customers and ONTO service engineers.
• Conducts technical training courses for customers and / or ONTO service engineers.
• Collaborates with customer and functional teams to develop course content specifications.
• Prepares lesson plans based on engineering documentation, field service requirements, or software documentation.
• Creates training videos using recording hardware such as Camcorder, Halolens, GoPro.
• Coordinates with field service, engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure course material reflects current product features.
• Instructs participants in classroom lectures and laboratory sessions.
• Follows up to ensure course material remains current and relevant.
• Maintains training equipment readiness and resolves any issues during or outside of classes.
• Willingness to travel internationally for on-the-job training, customer training, and certification, with travel estimated at 30-50%.
