Job Description :
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS + Networking), you will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. This role demands deep expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure as code, and DevOps automation, with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to enable cloud adoption, ensure compliance, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and security across global environments.
- Set up and automate cloud networking in AWS, including Security Groups, Network ACLs, and subnet management (CIDR / IP address management).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and integrate with service catalogs (e.g., ServiceNow, Backstage) to enable self-service application deployments.
- Define and enforce network configuration best practices, including Security Groups vs. NACL usage.
- Collaborate with platform and application engineering teams to capture requirements and deliver optimized cloud environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to achieve consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and cost optimization frameworks to improve cloud observability and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and DevOps.Proven expertise in AWS cloud networking : VPCs, subnets, Security Groups, NACLs, routing, and peering.Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).Hands-on experience integrating infrastructure automation with Service Catalogs (ServiceNow, Backstage).Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation frameworks for infrastructure delivery.Strong understanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to mentor junior engineers.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
