- Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, diagnose, assess and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
- SLPs perform screenings, assess patient condition, as well as design and implement treatment plans in support of client goals.
- Pediatric or adult clients may be served via telemedicine, outpatient clinic, community, or home settings.
- SLPs also work collaboratively as part of a team with professionals from many other disciplines as well as support staff.
- Responsibilities Provide patient care while ensuring clinical excellence and outstanding patient outcomes Encourage and participate in the development of continued referral sources for NTSOC.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures in all matters of documentation, supervision, and billings.
- Participates in audits for speech-language pathologist and shares information from the audits.
- Fulfilling all job requirements outlined in the Speech-Language Pathologists Job Description as a practicing clinician.
- Provide supervision for clinical fellows, students and / or volunteers when qualified.
- Support director of rehabilitation in public speaking or community education programs that focus on issues relating to therapy in children / adolescents.
- Promoting knowledge of innovation in the field of speech-language pathology by keeping advised of new medical research and treatment modalities and inspiring others to do the same.
Ensuring that the highest quality of provision of speech-language pathology services is provided to the clients of NTSOC Minimum Experience :
