Overview
Sr. Engineering Project Manager with DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) leads all phases of engineering and design efforts related to land development and natural gas projects. This role will have direct client interaction and will manage the design, engineering, permitting and approvals necessary for all projects, as well as directing the work of internal and external resources. The position may include business development, proposal writing, preparing man-hour estimates, and responsibilities for managing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of engineering and design efforts for land development and natural gas projects.
- Direct design, engineering, permitting, and approvals across projects.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external resources.
- Engage in business development and proposal writing as needed.
- Prepare man-hour estimates and manage client relationships.
Skills and Experience
Required
A minimum of 10 years related experience in land development or natural gas engineeringAt least 3 years of experience in a project management capacitySignificant hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and ExcelSelf-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to lead othersAbility to interact with clients, customers, officials, contractors and internal staffProfessional Engineering LicenseBachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experienceKnowledge of local utilitiesLocal, county, and state permitting experienceBenefits
