Responsibilities :
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified automotive training program is preferredValid driver's license and a clean driving recordASE Certification requiredMinimum of 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician experience preferredProficient in using GM diagnostic equipment and softwareStrong technical skills in diagnosing and repairingAbility to read and interpret service manuals and technical bulletinsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsBenefits :
