The position is for a full-time Neuroradiologist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, specializing in diagnostic imaging and lumbar puncture procedures within neuroradiology. The role includes participation in a rotating weekly call schedule with after-hours support through NTP nighthawk coverage. Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Neuroradiologist to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the entire spectrum of Neuroradiology diagnostic imaging and lumbar puncture procedures.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm, will participate in a rotating weekly call shared between the department Neuroradiologists.

The facility has NTP nighthawk coverage for after hour on weekdays and all-day weekends and Holidays. The on-call radiologist is available to cover if there is a problem sending cases to NTP, available to answer consults and cover for urgent lumbar puncture procedures.

Qualifications :

Must be a U.S. Citizen (

If no qualified U.S. Citizen is found, will consider non- citizen candidates

Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State

Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology

Fellowship in Neuroradiology (preferred)

CAQ certified or eligible (preferred)

Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (preferred)
