The position is for a full-time Neuroradiologist at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, specializing in diagnostic imaging and lumbar puncture procedures within neuroradiology. The role includes participation in a rotating weekly call schedule with after-hours support through NTP nighthawk coverage. Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Neuroradiologist to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the entire spectrum of Neuroradiology diagnostic imaging and lumbar puncture procedures.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm, will participate in a rotating weekly call shared between the department Neuroradiologists.

  • The facility has NTP nighthawk coverage for after hour on weekdays and all-day weekends and Holidays.  The on-call radiologist is available to cover if there is a problem sending cases to NTP, available to answer consults and cover for urgent lumbar puncture procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (
  • If no qualified U.S. Citizen is found, will consider non- citizen candidates
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
  • Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship in Neuroradiology (preferred)
  • CAQ certified or eligible (preferred)
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (preferred)
