Salary : $60-$65 Hourly

Job Summary

The School Psychologist at The Allicock Group contributes to the well-being and academic success of students by providing psychological assessments, interventions, and support services. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and students to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Duties :

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement intervention plans to address students' individual needs.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges.
  • Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Support school-wide programs aimed at fostering a positive school climate and mental health awareness.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address students' academic and behavioral concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Qualifications :

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Empathetic and student-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a school setting.
