SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTION :
This role supports the needs of production by performing cleaning and related activities necessary to maintain the facility and equipment in the required sanitary conditions. This role is critical in maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the facility necessary for regulatory compliance and GFSI (SQF) certification. Maintenance of such conditions accomplished primarily through adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule, addressing "at risk" sanitation issues immediately, and communicating issues where there is no immediate solution.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals (SOPs / SSOPs / OPLs). Ability to communicate effectively through both verbal and written methods. Ability to speak effectively with groups of employees throughout the organization.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma / High School equivalent.
EXPERIENCE : MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, rates and ratios.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, SOFTWARE
Basic skills in Microsoft Office programs, forklift certification, floor scrubber certification, HACCP, GMP / Food Safety
