Sales Manager

Our client, a family-owned business with over 90 years of history and an average employee tenure of 12+ years, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their Delano, CA operation. This is a hands-on position where you'll not only drive new business growth but also oversee office and warehouse personnel while fostering a positive, team-oriented culture.
What You'll Do :
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of four office staff and warehouse personnel.
- Develop new customer relationships, primarily within the foodservice sector (restaurants, distributors, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment between sales, office, and warehouse functions.
- Utilize Excel (including Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office / Teams to track performance and support reporting.
- Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm to expand its market presence.
What We're Looking For :
Produce industry experience is required; foodservice experience strongly preferred over retail.Proven outside sales experience with a track record of building new business.Experience managing and motivating teams, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive leadership style.Strong technical skills : Excel (Pivot Tables), Microsoft Office, Teams.Quality assurance experience in foodservice is a plus.Schedule & Compensation :
