job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHigh school diploma or GED Minimum 1 year of healthcare insurance billing or related experience Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word) Insurance billing or collections experience Customer service experience in a healthcare environment Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system Effective team collaboration and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Professional communication skills with clients and stakeholders Perform third-party insurance claim billing associated with medication dispensing according to payer requirements Transmit or submit claims (paper / electronic) to insurance payors for reimbursement Resolve insurance issues and patient concerns resulting from incorrect or incomplete information, therapy changes, or pharmacy / shipping errors Maintain chronological notes detailing actions taken to resolve billing edits Maintain patient demographic and insurance information in billing and data collection systems, including reports, work queues, and diversions Research and respond to insurance companies and governmental payors regarding billing issues via phone, internet, or written correspondence Contact patients, physicians’ offices, or insurance carriers as needed to expedite claim processing Process adjustments based on information from work queues or internal requests 11 / 03 / 2025 Free parking provided Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM EST Hybrid position; requires schedule flexibility (onsite Tuesdays and Thursdays (every other week) Must reside within a 1-hour commute of Monroeville, PA Experience in healthcare insurance billing required Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
