We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a 100% remote, full-time permanent role, perfect for individuals who value flexibility and autonomy. The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and must be barred in Colorado, Utah, or Arizona. With a minimum of 5+ years of experience, the ideal candidate will be able to contribute to our team's success from day one.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to :

1. Represent clients in all stages of litigation, from initiation to resolution.

2. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.

3. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.

4. Provide legal advice to clients in a clear, concise, and comprehensive manner.

5. Collaborate with our team of attorneys to devise and implement effective legal strategies.

6. Participate in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials as required.

7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting insurance defense.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Active membership in good standing with the Colorado, Utah, or Arizona State Bar.

3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in insurance defense.

4. Proven track record of representing clients in court and achieving favorable results.

5. Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing skills.

6. Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.

7. Ability to manage a high-volume case load effectively and efficiently.

8. Proficient in using legal research software and other technology tools.

9. Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

10. Ethical and professional conduct, demonstrating respect for confidentiality and discretion at all times.
