Job Description
Title : Physical Therapist Assistant
Department : Health
Classification : Non-exempt
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide physical therapy and services for patients under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Hands-on therapy and exercises to promote mobility, pain relief, strength, balance, and prevent disability
- Provides training to patients, caregivers, and families according to the plan of care outlined by the Physical Therapist
- Provides therapeutic treatment in accordance with the patients' established plan of care with a focus on functional and measurable outcomes
- Electronic record charting
- Assist in maintaining department performance
- Clean and maintain daily use equipment
- Inventory and stock items as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Supervision : Supervised by the Physical Therapist
Salary Level : Annual Salary Range : $53,601.60 - $78,395.20
