Business Development Executive – Commercial Real Estate (Washington, DC)
About the Role :
Direct Counsel is partnering with a Fortune 500 industry leader to hire a Business Development Executive for their Mid-Atlantic National Commercial Services team . This is an opportunity to join a highly respected group that collectively closes more than $25 billion in U.S. commercial real estate transactions annually .
The ideal candidate is a natural networker who thrives on building meaningful relationships and has the drive to expand market presence in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland region. You’ll collaborate with developers, attorneys, lenders, and investors to generate new commercial business and play a key role in shaping the future of the market.
Responsibilities :
Generate new business opportunities with CRE developers, attorneys, lenders, and investors .
Leverage your existing network and expand relationships within the DC / MD / VA commercial real estate community.
Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings .
Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless, client-first experience.
Qualifications :
Proven ability to build and grow client relationships in commercial real estate or related industries.
Strong connections in the local DC / MD / VA market preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills .
Background in business development, CRE brokerage, or law (attorneys with networks encouraged to apply).
