The Opportunity

As a Fulfillment Center Purchasing Assistant, you'll help keep operations running smoothly, ensuring that essential supplies are available at the right time. This is a position where you will directly improve efficiency.

Hands-on experience managing purchasing operations, vendor relationships, and inventory tracking.

Opportunities to improve processesuse data to prevent shortages.

Collaboration with vendors and leadership to lead efficient fulfillment center supply management.

You will report onsite at our QVC Fulfillment Center in Suffolk, VA.

As a Fulfillment Center Purchasing Assistant, you'll report to the Senior Operations Manager.

Your Impact

Source and place purchase orders for fulfillment center supplies, ensuring availability.

Track and analyze inventory needs, using data to anticipate demand and prevent shortages.

Maintain an organized inventory system, labeling and cataloging supplies for easy access.

Collaborate with vendors and fulfillment leadership to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Optimize inventory placement, ensuring materials are positioned to support operational flow

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant coursework or experience in procurement.

At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.

Proficiency in computer systemsincluding Excel and purchasing software.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
