POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Business Optimization plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, enhancing efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, leading cross-functional initiatives, and implementing innovative solutions that align with the companys mission, financial objectives, and long-term growth strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve overall organizational efficiency.
- Partner with support services to evaluate current practices and implement best-in-class solutions.
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Support senior leadership in the development and execution of strategic plans.Drive alignment of business processes with organizational goals to achieve measurable outcomes.Oversee large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable ROI.Change Management & Innovation
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Lead management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.Introduce digital transformation initiatives and leverage technology to enhance business outcomes.Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and HR to optimize business practices and improve performance.Mentor and develop teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results and accountability.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights and recommendations.Performance Measurement & Reporting
Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate the success of optimization initiatives.Regularly report outcomes and progress to senior leadership.Ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field (masters degree preferred).510 years of progressive leadership experience in business operations, process improvement, or strategic planning.Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and delivering measurable business results.Strong expertise in project management, MS Excel or other related applicationsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.Core Competencies
