Role Summary

As the Specialist, HR Initiatives & Knowledge Management , you will be responsible for strategically managing and tactically executing knowledge management and transfer activities for NBCUniversal's global HR community. You will design, implement, and manage knowledge management / transfer activities that support the global HR community's awareness of and adherence to corporate policies, programs, and processes. You will also support enterprise-wide HR initiatives, collaborating with Legal, IT, HR Operations, Payroll, Communications, and other HR Business Partners as needed.

The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, attention to detail including advanced document and presentation design abilities, and the ability to ideate and produce consistent knowledge / support resources. The candidate will exercise good judgment, collaborate well, think creatively to solve challenges, and operate in a highly confidential environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for consistent and transparent knowledge transfer across the global HR community by partnering with internal Subject Matter Expert teams
• Act as the knowledge management point of contact for internal Subject Matter Experts across Benefits, Compensation, Employment Law / Labor Relations, HR Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development
• Identify and share knowledge management best practices across the global HR community
• Maintain working knowledge of organizational and cross-departmental policies, programs, and processes impacting HR
• Develop and maintain internal and external support / resources documents created from Corporate HR Initiatives, including SOPs, How-To Guides, and training decks
• Maintain and enhance tHRive Library – enterprise HR's knowledge management database via SharePoint
• Communicate and train on new / changed HR policies, programs, and processes to Field HR teams and stakeholder groups
• Support a diverse portfolio of enterprise HR programs across the employee lifecycle (e.g., outplacement, Employee Disaster Assistance Fund, Enterprise Exit Survey)
• Provide consultation related to HR operations and policy to HR peers
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director, HR Initiatives & Knowledge Management

Work Arrangement & Benefits

Hybrid role : generally in New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range : $75,000 - $85,000.
