Job Description

Job Title : Endur Software Developer V

Location : Houston, TX (Onsite)

Position : Full Time

10 years of experience with Endur, Java and interfacing to Oracle. MUST be ENDUR, not exceptions or equivalents accepted. No equivalents for any of these.

As a Software Developer V, you will lead the design and development for enterprise software solutions. You will define technology strategy and set the technical direction for software projects while serving as a mentor to others on the team. The ability to prioritize projects and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design and development (including hands on development, testing, and debugging) of sophisticated software solutions
  • Sets the technical direction for sophisticated software projects and initiatives
  • Leads architectural design and ensures alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to define technology strategy
  • Mentors and coaches development teams and technical leaders
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • Required : High school diploma / GED, vocational / technical / business school, and a minimum of ten (10) years of software development experience
  • Preferred : Bachelor's degree, computer science or related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Expert-level proficiency in a wide range of programming languages and technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of software design principles and patterns

  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding technical teams
  • Expert-level proficiency in relational databases and knowledge of NoSQL databases
  • Required : Endur experience

  • 30 minute virtual for 1st round / 1-1.5 hour In person (Onsite at client's location) Panel for 2nd round

  • Career Stability : High – Seek candidates with a history of multi-year tenures in prior roles, especially in complex, enterprise environments, while also demonstrating adaptability and leadership.
  • Consulting Experience Desirability : Medium – Consider candidates with strong contracting or consulting backgrounds if they demonstrate deep Endur expertise, industry knowledge, and commitment to long-term projects.
  • Must-have skills : High – Screen for expert-level proficiency in Endur, Java, and Oracle interfacing, as these are non-negotiable technical requirements for this role.
  • Educational Qualifications : High – Require at least an associate degree or equivalent, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Required Software Tools : High – Require expert-level proficiency as a developer in Endur, Java, and Oracle interfacing, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in each.
  • Certifications & Licenses : Not Relevant – No professional certifications or licenses are required or preferred for this role; focus on technical skills and experience instead.
  • Managerial Experience : High – Required : Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or leading technical teams, but direct people management (with formal reports) is not strictly necessary; look for candidates who have set technical direction and led project teams.
