Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts requiring ARRT(R) certification and a minimum of 2 years of CT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a radiology department performing CT imaging and occasional general radiographic exams
  • Night shift schedule : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, Friday through Sunday
  • No call required
  • Potential to float to a nearby location approximately 7 miles away
  • No holiday work required unless the holiday falls on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
  • GE equipment used, with experience preferred but not required
  • EPIC EMR charting system used, experience preferred but not required
  • Responsibilities include performing CT examinations and intravenous contrast injections in accordance with hospital guidelines and safety standards
  • Duties also include equipment preparation, patient transport, maintaining clean and stocked areas, equipment cleaning, and performing quality control testing
  • Adherence to departmental schedules, policies, radiation safety, and ongoing competency requirements is expected
  • Pass / fail EKG testing required on the first day with two attempts allowed; study guides are provided
  • Teamwork, ethical conduct, patient education, and supporting departmental development are key elements of the role
  • 50 mile radius rule applies for travelers

    • Requirements

  • ARRT(R) certification and current BLS required
  • Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
  • Broad range of technical CT and radiology modality skills required
  • 1 year of CT experience required, with 2 years of overall radiology experience preferred
  • Preferred : ARRT(R)(CT) certification and ACLS
