Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students across K-12 in a school setting located in Shawnee, Wyoming. This contract position spans the full academic school year, offering the chance to contribute meaningfully to student communication development and academic success.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Support students in improving speech, language, and communication skills through guided activities.
  • Record and document student progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to enhance student outcomes.
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain a functional, organized workspace.

Qualifications :

  • Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by state regulations.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for helping children.
  • Ability to follow treatment plans accurately and provide detailed progress reports.
