Child & Family Therapist – Clinician II
Location : Based in Coupeville, WA – Serving Island & San Juan Counties
Program : 600-11750 – Children's Intensive Services (WISe)
Schedule : Full-Time (40 hours / week)
Wage : $30.90–$45.90 / hr DOE
Licensed Scale : $32.78–$48.65 / hr DOE

Compass Health is seeking a Child & Family Therapist to join our WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) team based in Coupeville. You’ll deliver individualized, strength-based care that keeps children and youth stable and supported in their homes and communities.
This position provides services across both Island and San Juan Counties, including travel at least once per week to the San Juan Islands (ferry passes provided). You’ll work as part of a collaborative team to deliver recovery-focused care where it’s needed most—at home, school, or in the community.
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide therapy and case management to youth and families in their natural settings.
Use strength-based, individualized care planning within the WISe model.
Conduct assessments, safety planning, and crisis response as needed.
Collaborate with care coordinators, family partners, and external supports.
Participate in a rotation of after-hours crisis response coverage.
Attend team meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
What You Bring
Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Science field (MA / MS / MSW)
Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) per WAC
Meets qualifications for Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) preferred
Valid WA State driver’s license and insurance
Must obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor status (if not already licensed)
Ability to pass background check

Experience or strong interest in working with children, youth, and families
Knowledge of or willingness to learn Evidence-Based Practices
Flexibility to travel weekly to San Juan County ferry passes provided.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in community and home-based settings
