About The Position

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 121-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, starting on Sep 15, 2025. This role involves handling general primary care and urgent care cases at an employee health facility, with a schedule from Monday to Thursday, 9am - 6pm, and Friday, 7am - 4pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care and urgent care services to employees.
  • Treat a variety of cases including chronic care, anxiety, depression, and workplace injuries such as chemical burns and sutures.
  • Manage general health screenings and preventive care.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and care plans.

  • Required Board Certifications : Family Medicine; Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
  • Must hold an active VA license and DEA certification.
  • Ideal candidates should have at least two years of recent primary care experience, treating patients of all ages.
