Bachoco USA is seeking a Safety Data Analyst for our Fort Smith, AR location

Summary : Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting safety-related data to help identify trends, improve workplace safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. This role supports the safety team by delivering actionable insights that drive decision-making and continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Collect, manage, and analyze safety data including incident reports, near misses, OSHA logs, training records, audits, and safety observations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key safety performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends and root causes in safety data and provide actionable recommendations to reduce incidents and improve compliance.
• Collaborate with safety coordinators, operations teams, and HR to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with regulatory reporting (e.g., OSHA, workers' compensation reports).
• Maintain safety databases and tools such as EHS management systems.
• Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions by providing data and tracking progress.
• Automate and improve data collection and reporting processes using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI software.
• Provide analytical support during audits, inspections, or incident investigations.
• Create ad hoc reports and presentations for senior leadership and safety committees.
