Position Summary
As a Certified Medical Assistant at our facility, you'll provide direct support to physicians, nurses, and mid-level providers while ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely care. Your responsibilities will include :
- Obtaining and monitoring patient vital signs
- Transcribing and implementing physician orders within scope of practice
- Assisting with examinations and minor procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clean, stocked equipment and supplies
- Gathering and documenting patient data accurately
- Providing basic first aid and CPR when required
- Collecting subjective and objective information for nurse or provider review
- Assisting with medication and treatment interventions under provider direction
- Maintaining inventory, checking expiration dates, and restocking supply areas and first aid kits
- Sterilizing instruments and ensuring proper recordkeeping of medical equipment and supplies
- Supporting patient education as instructed
- Performing clerical duties including answering phones, filing, and chart documentation
