We are seeking a Wound Care Physician for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in Ohio. This remote supervisory role is set to start on Oct 20, 2025, and consists of 8-hour shifts reviewing charts. The physician will oversee advanced wound care delivered in the home by nurse practitioners, providing clinical guidance without direct patient interaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise and support nurse practitioners performing advanced wound care in the home setting
  • Review approximately 10 percent of patient charts for clinical oversight
  • Provide expertise for cases involving wound care and management of multiple comorbidities
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ohio
  • Experience with wound care cases or management of multiple comorbidities is preferred
