Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule : DayTimeWed09 : 30 PM - 05 : 30 AMThur09 : 30 PM - 05 : 30 AM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially in a technology, media, or telecom setting. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries, following established protocols for the location. Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and company policies while maintaining a professional presence. Participate in site training and briefings to stay updated on procedures and protocols relevant to the location. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
