As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication, and supporting a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as needed. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PMSun06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise in a healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement as needed to address incidents and provide support during emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to those on site.
  • Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and / or other defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles is required.
  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
