What You Will Do

The Manufacturing Engineering Central Services, Manufacturing Documentation Services (MDS) Team manages the “readiness” of Work Instructions used to build over 18,000 primary part numbers in our Northeast Manufacturing Work centers.

MDS oversees each Work Instruction’s configuration alignment across Raytheon business systems including Production Data Manager (PDM), PRISM (SAP) and CMES shop floor control.

As a Staff Technician – Manufacturing Documentation, your primary responsibilities will include engaging customers on manufacturing documentation change request activities and supporting process readiness metrics for Northeast Work Centers.

Additional responsibilities will include :

• Maintaining and releasing Manufacturing Data / Documentation Packages (MDP) to production
• Managing Configuration of MDPs across business systems of record (PRISM, PDM, cMES)
• “Vaulting” approved process sheets in PDM and Work Instruction Servers
• Records Management of Operations forms and labels.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
