About The Position
We are seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 182-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role features flexible scheduling with 12-hour night shifts in the SICU, serving as the sole in-house provider per shift. Candidates must have at least 3 years of critical care experience and be comfortable with a fluid schedule structure.

Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as the sole in-house provider for scheduled SICU night shiftsManage critically ill surgical patients and respond to emergent clinical needsCommunicate with the attending physician, who is available by phone 24 / 7 and can come onsite if necessaryPerform comprehensive assessments and implement treatment plans for surgical ICU patientsCoordinate care transitions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encountersAdditional Information
Minimum of 3 years experience required in a critical care settingActive Ohio nurse practitioner license requiredAdvanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification requiredLong credentialing process; start as soon as credentialedBenefits
