• Conscious sedation experience
• Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Epic experience

Description :

The position is for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse.

The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1 : 1 in a two-room setting.

Candidates with a minimum of one year of relevant experience are preferred.

First-time travelers are accepted for this role.

Weekend rotation may be required.

On-call duties are expected during evenings and weekends.

At least 12 shifts of on-call service per month are required.

The clinician will not float outside of their scope to meet facility needs.

Block scheduling can be accommodated at the discretion of management.

Local candidates are not eligible for this position, as the radius restriction is 70 miles.

Pending licenses will not be accepted; candidates must have their licenses in hand before starting.

There are no restrictions on requested time off.

Minimum guaranteed hours are provided based on confirmed shifts.

SSM may call off travelers up to certain hours depending on their confirmed shift schedules without compensating for the canceled hours.

Candidates should have experience with basic Cath Lab procedures.

Additional skills like monitoring procedural sedation are required.

Travelers must complete any necessary clearance processes prior to starting.

Clinicians cannot work as travelers for more than one year without taking a six-month break.

Each candidate must meet the requirements for OSHA Respirator Clearance before starting.

Travelers must also adhere to specific hygiene practices for fit testing.
