What youll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPOMinimum Qualifications : Be at least 21 years of ageValid Class A commercial driver's licenseSafe driving record and historyCurrently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles / triples endorsements within 90 days of employmentPass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 yearsHold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physicalAvailable to work a flexible schedule thats up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shiftsPreferred Qualifications : Forklift experienceCurrently possess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles / triples endorsementsAbout the Truck Driver JobPay, benefits and more : Home dailyPay starts at $27.77 / hourDay ShiftFull health insurance benefits on day oneLife and disability insuranceEarn up to 13 days PTO over your first year9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceThis is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt positionWhat youll do on a typical day : Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triplesProvide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leadsLoad and unload freightTruck Drivers are required to : Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight / pull force of approximately 128 lbs.Safely climb in / out of a tractor cab / trailerSit for extended periods in a truck tractor and / or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forkliftWalk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelOperate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous / non-hazardous materialsDont have your CDL-A yet?
