Overview
Our Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer to work onsite in Amarillo, TX at a hyperscale data center project. This will be a 1 - 2 year project.

You'll contribute to high-impact projects involving advanced building systems and data centers. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with diverse teams, engage in site work, and contribute to client-facing efforts-all while driving innovative solutions and ensuring technical excellence every step of the way.
Per diem and travel allowance available for non-local candidates.
Responsibilities
A typical day is driven by collaboration and innovation, where you shape the future of projects by coordinating with diverse teams, solving complex technical challenges, managing budgets and schedules, and guiding your team to deliver high-quality, impactful results.
Collaboration & Coordination : Understand roles played by other disciplines and coordinate with them. Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data from others
- Design & Planning : Prepare design studies, project scopes, and engineering estimates. Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications
- Project Oversight & Leadership : Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery. Serve as Responsible Engineer (RE) or Lead Responsible Engineer (LRE) to lead project success
- Problem Solving & Innovation : Devise new approaches to technical problems
- Fieldwork & Implementation : Travel for field installation, checkout, and start-up
- Inspections & Reporting : Review of relevant reports for third party testing and inspection agency. Periodic visual inspections of electrical systems, and instrumentation & controls systems
