Sr. Project Manager (Category Management Team Lead)

As a Sr. Project Manager (Category Management Team Lead), you'll lead the Category Management workstream for the Department of the Air Force, advancing spend strategy, uncovering data-driven insights, and identifying efficiencies that enhance mission effectiveness. Our team is responsible for strengthening the Air Force's Category Management program, and you'll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while integrating innovative AI and automation solutions to align with DAF and DoD priorities. What you'll do :

• Support strategic communications by preparing reports, briefings, and other materials for senior Air Force leadership.
• Lead the Category Management workstream, ensuring alignment with DAF CM principles and program execution.
• Develop and maintain Category Charters, Strategic Plans, and Execution Plans.
• Oversee spend analysis, market research, and business case assessments to identify cost savings and efficiencies.
• Utilize data analytics, visualization tools, and emerging technologies to extract insights and support decision-making.
• Integrate generative AI and automation to streamline category management processes.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagements, and produce in-depth category reports.
• Engage with senior Air Force leaders through clear presentations and reports.
• Provide project management oversight to ensure timely delivery of milestones and reports.
• Collaborate with teams and leadership to incorporate best practices and DoD strategies.
• Support strategic communications by preparing materials for senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed :

Salary Range : $140,000 - $170,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including :
