Title : MRI Technologist

Location : Columbia, SC

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 4x10-Hour (19 : 30 – 06 : 00), Mon–Thurs

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform MRI scans on patients of all ages, with a primary focus on pediatric and neonatal imaging.
  • Operate and maintain GE and Siemens MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T) in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Position patients accurately and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the imaging process.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other medical staff to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Administer and monitor contrast media as needed while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Perform MRI scans for a wide range of studies including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, abdomen, pelvis, and trauma imaging.
  • Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately within the electronic medical record system.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Active ARRT (R) and (MR) certifications required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong pediatric MRI experience required; prior Children’s Hospital experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI systems (1.5T and 3T) and PACS required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
  • Familiarity with advanced MRI techniques such as diffusion, perfusion, spectroscopy, and multiplanar reconstruction preferred.
  • Teaching or trauma-level hospital experience preferred.
