Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist with at least one year of recent skilled home health experience and a valid WA or compact license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Home health setting serving a primarily geriatric population
  • Day shift schedule : 5x8 hours, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Typical caseload is 4-6 patients per day based on territory and productivity standards
  • Visits grouped to minimize drive and travel time, though occasional maximum radius is up to 100 miles
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Travelers must have their own reliable transportation
  • Utilizes documentation tools provided by the agency
  • Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) is preferred
  • Timely communication and thorough documentation of patient care are essential responsibilities
  • Travelers are expected to return all provided documentation tools at end of assignment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Locals are accepted
  • Travel pairs can be accepted but each traveler will have their own territory and must have their own transportation
  • Must submit all requested time off with initial application
  • Former perm employees are eligible after a 6-month separation and HR approval

  • Current WA or compact OT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year recent skilled OT home health experience within the past 3 years
  • Inpatient experience is not accepted
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • OASIS experience required if completing Start of Care visits
  • Active driver’s license and personal transportation required
