Position Summary : The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-value, custom RF Microwave Switch Matrix solutions that enable some of the worlds most advanced measurement and test capabilities. RF Microwave Switch Matrix products provide automated, high-integrity routing of RF microwave signals between test instrumentation and the unit under test. These systems ensure consistent signal paths, streamline automated testing, and often include advanced signal conditioning. Each project is engineered to orderfrom standard switch topologies to highly complex, fully customized signal routing solutions.
The Project Manager leads the project from order receipt through final deliverycoordinating with engineering, production, quality, procurement, and logistics to keep everything on track. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role overseeing build schedules, cross-functional coordination, and delivery milestones to ensure we meet customer commitments. This includes modular and custom switch matrices as well as repeat system builds. When needed, the Project Manager may also assume Project Coordinator responsibilities to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
This position requires strong judgment, disciplined communication, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation and resource coordination.
Essential Job Functions :
- Lead project teams through the full project lifecyclefrom design handoff to deliveryensuring on-time, on-budget completion of switch matrix builds.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, resources, and timelines to meet aggressive delivery targets.
- Monitor availability of key materialsincluding wire stock and sourced componentsand escalate supply or timing risks early. Develop familiarity with internal parts databases and planning tools to support effective forecasting.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and business development to align priorities, maintain schedules, and resolve conflicts quickly and constructively.
- Ensure all work is aligned with approved Resource Plans. Escalate scope or priority shifts promptly to leadership to prevent schedule impacts to other projects.
- Keep Program Managers and customers informed of progress, delivery dates, risks, and mitigation steps through structured updates and milestone meetings. Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and Program Managers, including delivery timelines, project status, and risk mitigation updates.
- Facilitate key project milestones and meetings, including project kickoffs, Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) reviews.
- Drive continuous process improvement to support world-class, cost-efficient order fulfillment and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project); advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value, fast-moving projects simultaneously.Strong organizational skills with the ability to bring clarity and structure to complex workflows.Proven record of proactive risk identification and mitigation.Effective at coordinating cross-functional teams, resources, and stakeholders to deliver results on time and within scope.Exercises sound judgment and fosters innovation while aligning work with organizational goals.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and influence effectively at all levels.Education and Experience Preferred :
Bachelors degree preferred.Prior experience in a manufacturing or product development environment strongly preferred.Project management experience is a plus; formal training or certification (e.g., Project Management Institutes Project Management Professional (PMP)) is considered an asset but not required.Strong aptitude for coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex schedules in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with customer inventory systems, parts databases, or ERP / MRP tools preferred.Compensation details : 33-45 Hourly Wage
